The 3rd Beijing International Ballet Competition from 1 - 10 October 2010. The Competition is open to all ballet students, including those who have graduated and worked as professionals for no more than two years since gradiation. Applications accepted up until 1 July 2010. no ballet - 5th International Choreography Competition Ludwigshafen 2010 The competition will be held at the Theater im Pfalzbau, in Ludwigshafen, from 7 - 9 October 2010. Choreographies must be for a minimum of two people (no solos allowed!) and should run for between 5 and 15 minutes. The jury comprises Hansgünther Heyme, Reinhild Hoffmann, Susanne Linke, Kajo Nelles, Klaus Obermaier, Hartmut Regitz, Juliane Rößler, Ralf Rossa, Darrel Toulon and Xin Peng Wang, and prizes of 7,500, 5,000 and 2,500 euros are presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner respectively. Reverb Festival (NYC) announces a call for international choreographers for its 6th Annual Fall Festival and the inaugural residency/summer project with Purchase College. Choreographers will work at Purchase College's beautiful upstate studios for a week in the making of a new work to be premiered in the Fall of 2010. The residency dates are May 30-June. The premiere of the works will be in October 2010 at a New York City venue to be announced as well as the Purchase College Dance Theater Lab. Application at http://www.reverbdance.org

The VII Spanish-American Choreographic Competition Alicia Alonso CIC 2010 Applications invited from Latin American choreographers, whether resident in Latin America or not. Any theme may be chosen but works should be no longer than 15 minutes. Maximum number of dancers - 10. The music must be from a Latin-American composer.
