MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS - OPEN AUDITION
for high quality shows on the TUI Cruises Mein Schiff fleet – October 21st, 2017 at 10am. Professional male and female dancers with excellent skills in ballet, strong background in modern and jazz, experience in musical and /or show and the ability to learn choreography quickly and precisely. Contracts are 6 Months on the vessel, and prior to that a 6 to 8 weeks paid rehearsal period in our studios in Berlin. LEIPZIG BALLET
The Leipzig Ballet
- artistic director Mario Schröder - requires dancers for the 2018/19 season. A high level in both classical and modern dance (with pointe work) is required. The audition will take place on Sunday, 26 November 2017 at 11 a.m. (ladies) and 2:00 p.m. (gentlemen) in the Opera Leipzig. NORRDANS - MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS
Norrdans is looking for dancers (male and female) for the season 2018 – 2019. We are interested in dancers that can combine a strong contemporary technique with a strong personality and stage presence. We require at least three years of documented professional experience as a dancer.Norrdans is based in Härnösand, in the north of Sweden. On our repertory we have choreographies from established heavyweights within contemporary dance as well of new talents from all over the world. The international ensemble tours frequently in Sweden and internationally. Audition will take place at Balettakademien in Stockholm, Sweden, February 4th 2018 from 9am to 6pm (class, repertoire, talk). MALE DANCERS
Penguins, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Cahoots NI (director Paul Mc Eneany and choreographer Carlos Pons Guerra) male dancers required for Penguins, a new children’s dance theatre production coproduced by Cahoots NI, Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Prime Theatre, directed by Paul Mc Eneaney and choreographed by Carlos Pons Guerra, for a 4-week creation and production period at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in starting on 8th January 2018, followed by a UK and Northern Ireland tour throughout February-March 2018.  Based on the true story of two male penguins in a New York City zoo that hatched an egg and became a family, this heart-warming production will introduce children to diverse families, touring the UK, Northern Ireland and abroad in 2018.  We are looking for two male dancers with a minimum of three years’ professional experience, with excellent contemporary dance and physical theatre skills, good partnering, unique personalities and warm presence. Experience in children’s theatre/dance and narrative work very welcome. Skills in acrobatics, circus, classical dance and acting a plus, but not obligatory. Preferred heights: 1.75m onwards. An audition, by invitation only, will take place on October 24th from 17.00-20.00, at Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada, Artistic Director Igor Dobrovolskiy is looking for additional  male or female dancers for the 2017-2018 Season. Dancers must have strong classical technique and be of high soloist standard. The company has a principal focus on new creations, therefore, dancers must be flexible and able to adapt to new and varied choreography. This position is an opportunity to be involved in the on-going shaping of innovative, dynamic curriculum and performance practice. Strong leadership skills and teaching experience are essential. USC GLORYA KAUFMAN SCHOOL OF DANCE - LOS ANGELES, CA
The USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance invites applications for a Non-Tenure Track, Assistant Professor of Practice in Ballet Technique. USC Kaufman seeks a collaborative, dynamic and innovative artist-scholar to teach all levels of ballet technique for undergraduate dance majors, non-majors, and minors. Successful candidates will have significant professional and/or university-level experience in teaching ballet technique, men’s ballet technique, classical male variations, classical partnering and contemporary partnering as well as teaching and/or staging classical and/or contemporary masterworks. Experience in teaching other areas of dance is desirable but not required. Starting date: August 15, 2018. Initial appointment will be for a period of three years.
